Do you want to know the terrifying truth?

Good buddy and roommate Adam Brookland launched his new sports blog last week, and it’s a winner. Hit Some Dingers features insights into the wide world of football, basketball and baseball, and, at least during baseball season, will probably focus a bit on the Red Sox (yay) and the Phillies (sigh).

Note: the blog’s name is a delightful misquote of the oddly prescient Simpsons line, “Do you want to know the terrifying truth, or do you want to see me sock a few dingers?” The company line is to blame Michael Gee.

I’ll be contributing to the blog occasionally as well, starting with the first installment in an ongoing series, The Continuing Adventures of Wily Mo Peña, chronicling everyone’s favorite occasional Red Sox outfielder as he tries to make his way in the world. Join us, won’t you?
