Sizzling link action

Good buddy Rob Turbovsky has entered the blogosphere, and is posting some great stuff - including the Director’s Cut of his interview with Chuck Klosterman. I like to think that if I had listened to more classic rock starting around junior high, I could have continued with my rock journalist aspirations and ended up more like Turbo. Oh well.
The kid’s a prince, too - he calls me the David Bowie to his Mick Ronson. High flattery, there.
And a quick rundown of everyone else I’m linking these days:
- Chris Sartinsky still writes some of the most inspired and eclectic stuff on the interwebs. He also doesn’t have a reflection. Recommendation: his memoirs.
- Gabe “Gabriel” Hadley never updates, but god dammit I want to do everything I can to encourage him to try again, so here’s a link. Reading his posts makes me wish I was more eloquent.
- Greg White is a real Renaissance man. He cooks, he reads dictionaries, he works at David Letterman. He’s also my future writing partner and I love him very much. Recommendation: Deleted scenes from last year’s DVD release of “Riding the Bus with my Sister” starring Rosie O’Donnell.
- The recently mentioned Jillian Jorgensen recently joined up as well, and to great effect as well. Her stories have me convinced that she has the strangest life ever, not to mention a crippling Law and Order: SVU addiction. She’s met Ice-T and Mariska Hartigay. Recommendation: Actual quotes from her Christmas.
- Josh Gee: solid as a rock. Just not very reliable when it comes to blogging. Hey, throwing stones and glass houses and all of that, but come on, man. Recommendation: His account of being on CNN.
- Killian makes her life sound super interesting, but I know the truth: she just sits inside all day and makes up this exciting fantasy life. Sorry to burst your bubble. Recommendation: She becomes an awesome Godmother.
- Oliver Perez is taking out the UC Santa Cruz administration, one schizophrenic blog post at a time. Plus, he’s got his own facebook group. That’s pretty cool. Recommendation: Oliver accidentally stalks a blonde chick.
Check all of these guys out, they really do put me to shame. Is that enough e-self-loathing for you?
